Even with the 2019-20 Serie A season still in full swing, Inter Milan have made a big move for the next campaign. Achraf Hakimi will be joining the Nerazzurri from Real Madrid for €40 million with up to €5 million in bonuses. He is on a contract until June 2025, and will be earning €5 million a year.
The 21 year old right wingback has been on loan at Borussia Dortmund the last two years. This season he’s been very productive, tallying 9 goals and 10 assists in all competitions.

Hakimi will slot right into the starting XI next season to vastly improve the right flank. With three center backs behind him, Hakimi’s defensive deficiencies will be muted. That will let Hakimi go forward a lot more than in a back four, so it’s not out of the question to expect double digit production in goals and assists.
I’m very excited about this move, and can’t wait to see him on the pitch next season. With his age, Hakimi could be molded into a perfect fit for Conte’s system for years to come.
What are your thoughts on the move? Who else would you like to see added? Let us know in the comments.
