Arturo Vidal’s imminent move to Inter Milan could be wrapped up this week. The Barcelona midfielder has reportedly had his contract terminated a year early, as apart of Ronald Koeman’s cleaning up process.
Vidal will reportedly take his medical on Monday or Tuesday ahead of the transfer’s finalization mid-week. The move will be a welcomed one for all parties involved. Vidal has been linked with Inter for quite some time, and Barcelona will be happy to shed some more contractual weight.
Everyone doing business with Barcelona this summer seems to be offering them a small amount of money in exchange for nearly free transfers. Sevilla with Ivan Rakitic, and presumably Juventus with Luis Suarez. It seems to be a sign of good faith, or perhaps a sign of “sorry your transfer budget is trashed Barca”. It’s unclear if Antonio Conte and Inter will take the same approach and throw some money Barcelona’s way as a sign of good faith.
