When the news came out that Inter would undergo a major makeover in 2021, no one would blame you for counting down the days until March 9th. But it seems as though we have an earlier than expected release date after all, albeit not an intentional one. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Nike tweeted an image of Inter merchandise, and unknowingly releasing the new logo as well. It was soon deleted but not before screenshots such as this one could be taken.

The logo keeps the I and M lettering in a prominent role, as well as the circular shape and border. This isn’t confirmed of course, but it fits with the rumors and IM/I’M marketing slogan to “enhance the connection between the club and city.” Fortunately, the new logo also appears to keep the same overall idea the current one has. The color scheme in the above picture is unlikely to be the one on the official logo as well. This season’s pre-match jacket has an all yellow logo for example.
