MILAN - FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Achraf Hakimi has joined Paris Saint-Germain FC on a permanent transfer.
We would like to thank Achraf for his contribution to our Scudetto triumph last season and wish him all the very best for the next stage of his career.
The 22-year-old is the sacrifice Inter needed to make this transfer window and the Nerazzurri can now add €68 million to its coffers. Hakimi has signed a five-year contract with the Parisian club, at an €8 million salary until 2026. He graced the pitch of the San Siro for only one year but left a long-lasting impression. Hakimi was a constant threat down the right flank and marked his time with 7 goals and 9 assists. The 22-year-old seemed like he was going to be a permanent fixture for the Nerazzurri and the answer to Inter’s questions on the right. Factors outside of anyone’s control made that impossible but despite the premature exit, Hakimi’s time at Inter was a resounding success as he helped guide the Nerazzurri to Scudetto glory.
Grazie Achraf!
