In some just honestly crappy news, Romelu Lukaku is injured again. The Belgian suffered a thigh strain that will keep him off the pitch for the foreseeable future with initial reports saying that he won’t return for Inter till after the World Cup break.

The hope is that this wasn’t as significant as previous thigh injuries and won’t see Lukaku be forced to the sideline for extended time.

“This morning, Romelu Lukaku underwent tests at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano. They revealed that the Belgian has suffered a myotendinous strain in his left hamstring. His condition will be reassessed in a few days.”

Inter

The injury couldn’t come at a worse time for Rom and his World Cup ambitions. How this affects those ambitions remains to be seen, but for now, it seems as if we won’t see Rom in an Inter kit again till 2023.
