As the number of matches before the World Cup break continues to dwindle, Inter welcome Bologna to the San Siro with little room for error left at least in this phase of the season. The Nerazzurri need maximum points to keep pace with the top four.

Nothing more needs to be said about the loss to Juventus. It was toothless. Simone Inzaghi and his team need to produce a resounding response to keep belief running through the club and the fanbase. The losses cannot continue to pile up as they have.
Some rotation is to be expected with this match coming on a Wednesday before a trip to Bergamo to face Atalanta. Perhaps Marcelo Brozovic makes his full return.

Bologna have won their last three matches on the bounce and sit comfortably midtable for the time being. Thiago Motta has recently taken the reigns of the club over from Sinisa Mihajlovic and has the squad humming. The most recent win over Torino is the most impressive, with Ivan Juric being no slouch.
With no huge misses for this match, Bologna should be at full strength. Marko Arnautovic will surely be looking to replicate his last performance against the team he won the treble with.

Prediction: Inter 2-1 Bologna
Inter have been much better at home than on the road this season in Serie A. This should be the case again in this one. Look for Edin Dzeko to get back on track with a goal or two. Watch out for Arnautovic going the other way though, as he seems to like scoring against his former side.
Forza Inter!
