There’s finally some good news in the Inter world. Despite faltering form on the pitch, the Nerazzurri have made confirmed the futures of its key off-the-pitch contributors. In a press release last week the club announced that Beppe Marotta, Piero Ausilio, and Dario Baccin have signed new contracts until June 2025. Their previous deals were set to expire this summer.

MILAN – FC Internazionale Milano is delighted to announce that CEO Sport Giuseppe Marotta, Chief Sport Officer Piero Ausilio and Deputy Chief Sport Officer Dario Baccin have extended their contracts with the Italian Champions for another three years. They will work under President Steven Zhang at least until 30 June 2025.

The importance of this really can’t be overstated. The trio has been vital in the construction of Inter’s Scudetto winning side last season and is most to thank for the success we’ve seen recently. Beppe Marotta in particular has shown his genius on the transfer market despite a limited budget. Hopefully, the financial worries have eased and we can see Marotta and Ausilio work their magic with a full pocketbook. Even if that doesn’t happen, just having Marotta at the helm makes me feel a lot more optimistic for the future.

Next up on the priority list for Inter has to be renewals for Marcelo Brozovic (it wouldn't surprise me if he increased his demands by a million or two after Sassuolo) and Ivan Perisic. Brozovic’s deal is expected to be finalized shortly but we’ve been hearing that for months, so I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Forza Inter!
