Inter contacted Conte regarding Serie A return - report

Alright, just hang with me for a second. This is certainly sensational and very likely could be fluff, but the Times is reporting that Inter has made contact with Antonio Conte’s camp about a potential return in the future.

I’m writing this up for two reasons, the first is that the Times is usually a pretty good indicator of conversations that are least happening in the football sphere. The second is that it’s pretty believable that Inter would at least take the temperature on a return as Conte’s job security heats up.

It’s also safe to say that despite being second in Serie A last year and having a promising-looking campaign in the league this year, Simone Inzaghi isn’t guaranteed the role. Welcome to modern football.

So simply accepting the ridiculousness of this, would you all want to see Antonio Conte back on the Inter bench?
