This just goes to show me for underestimating our wonderful boys. I thought for sure we would be lucky to pull a draw out of this game. After all, they are s much further along in their season, they are used to the synthetic pitch, we are struggling through yet another injury crisis... but none of that mattered. The team put their heads down and did what needed to be done. It wasn't all wonderful: we have two more injuries to add to the list (Pazzini and Chivu) and clearly still have issues in defense, but overall I am proud of this team and the result they got in a difficult situation.
Thanks for the goal, Lucio. Now let's work on that defense.

Pazzini + Champions League = Happy happy Johonna.

There is no better way for Zarate to earn the fan's love than by scoring the winning goal in a must-win situation.

I really could get used to this. Well done, boys!

And how did Ranieri achieve this success where Gasperini could only fail? Claudio "... talked it over with the team. I put the players in their ideal roles.”
As simple as that.
We have seen Droopy and Happy, now we get Scary Ranieri. This guy has a much bigger range than I ever gave him credit for.

Oh, and even though it was only for a couple of minutes, welcome to the Champions League, Cristeg!
FORZA INTER
And this is neither here nor there, but my god, man, look at those thighs! They are ENORMOUS!
