Let me make a couple of points here:

- For the first time I can remember, Inter’s wage bill is supposedly reported as under €100 mil when you add in taxes and bonuses.

- The players with the highest wages and age combination have contracts ending next season. Finally.

- Even after all this striping the team down to bare essentials there is still some waste and dead money: Chivu probably won’t play a minute, Cambiasso is making about 1/3 of his position total which includes 8 other guys. I will not be surprised if Walter Samuel plays very much either. Pereira is probably over paid a bit as well.

- Rolando has this season to show he’s worth his money too. I believe he’s loaned with some option/obligation to buy.

- I am going to applaud the team for being relatively disciplined. If only they could climb that last step.
