Italian outlets are reporting today that French midfielder and current Celtic transfer target Lassana Diarra has passed a medical exam with the club's doctors and looks set to sign with the Italian giants just as soon as he can sever his final ties with Lokomotiv Moscow, where he is still in a legal battle to attain his free agent status.
The 29-year-old striker has not played for Lokomotiv since August, when he was sacked by his club after issues related to a falling out with manager Miodrag Bogovic.
Some sources claim that Inter manager Roberto Mancini favors Lass, and that Inter are willing to offer him a six month contract which would include a clause where Lass' contract would be automatically renewed if he were to feature in a set number of matches.
