It looks like everything is coming up transfer rumors today, folks. I know we're looking forward to this weekend's match here at IO, though. Hope Friday is everything you want it to be.
Transfer News / Rumors
Inter have reportedly reached out once again to Udinese winger Silvan Widmer. A move for Widmer was lightly-speculated last summer, but will only arrive if Inter can release some fringe players first. [Sempre Inter]
As many of you know, Inter keeper Samir Handanovic has been "about to sign his contract extension" since May. Just when it seemed everything was finally in order and negotiations were finalized, Handa requested a new clause to be inserted into his new contract: he wants a bonus if Inter win the league title. Rumor has it that if Inter don't agree to the clause that Handa could seek other opportunities come January. [Express]
Apparently ex-Inter President Massimo Moratti thinks that a short-term Andrea Pirlo loan spell at Inter would be a "very good idea." I personally don't think it's all that great of an idea. Yes, it's PIRLO - but it's not as if he's been a world-beater in MLS, so why should we expect any differently at Inter? Perhaps the best thing about this deal, if it were to happen, would be the sadness and despair it would cause for Milan fans. That in itself may even be worth it. [ESPNFC]
