With the season almost over clubs are starting to make plans for their training camps and preseason tours. For the last two summers, Inter came to the United States and took part in the International Champions Cup. This year the team will be in the competition again, but this year the competition has expanded to Australia and China, with the Nerazzurri heading to Asia.
Last summer, Inter fared pretty well in it's group. The team came in second place beating Real Madrid on penalties, losing to Manchester United on penalties, and beating Roma.
Inter's group in China this year includes AC Milan and Real Madrid. Before Inter takes part in the official competition, the side will also be taking on Bayern Munich.
This series of high profile matches will benefit Inter in two ways. First it will allow the team to take on other good teams, allowing Mancini to see how his team and tactics are starting to take shape. Secondly, playing such big matches will help draw out large numbers of fans, and Thohir will be hoping to gain new access into a more open Asian market for new fans and revenue.
