Yet another day of exhilarating World Cup football. Today we have the conclusions of Groups F and E. Group F will kick things off with Croatia and Belgium playing for their World Cup lives. Belgium needs a win in all likelihood to advance and Croatia needs at least a draw. Morocco could theoretically lose, and still get through if Croatia wins. They would serve themselves best by winning over Canada and just securing things in their own hands, but a loss and advancement is possible.
Group E is equally as fascinating. All four teams are in striking distance with Germany in the surprising position of needing to win and hoping that Spain beat Japan. The odd goal differentials in this group and results mean no one is really safe, and everyone needs a result.
