As many of you know, Hugo Campagnaro's time with Inter has come to an end. The 35-year-old Argentine international was recently released by the club and is now looking for a new club with which to ply his trade.
Forza Italian Football report that the aging center back has been linked with a move to Major League Soccer, with Canadian sides Montreal Impact and Toronto FC interested in acquiring his services.
It's worth noting that Campagnaro does have a pretty decent connection with Montreal, as Enzo Concina is the current assistant coach for that club. If you'll recall, the two have a previous working relationship dating back to their time spent together at both Napoli and Inter where Concina worked as part of the technical staff under Walter Mazzarri.
The two MLS sides are not only competing with one another, however, as Serie A club Hellas Verona are also thought to be in the race to secure Campagnaro's signature.
