Nothing but a win will be acceptable today. Inter take on Torino already knowing that Roma swatted aside Lazio in their Derby match to extend their gap over the Nerazzurri to 8 points. Inter must win in order to return the distance to a manageable 5 points. On the bright side Fiorentina drew today and Milan lost, so winning would give Mancini's side some breathing room over the Tuscans and put a 9 point gap between the two Milanese clubs.
Official Starting XIs:
Inter: Handanovic; Santon, Miranda, Jesus, Nagatomo; Brozovic, Medel; Ljajic, Palacio, Perisic; Icardi.
Torino: Padelli; Moretti, Jansson, Bovo; Peres, Benassi, Vives, Obi, Molinaro; Belotti, Maxi Lopez.
Things to Note:
- Mancini continues with the 4231, He's finally found a formation that works and is sticking with it...
- Players not so much. Santon returns from the wastelands to start for the first time since January, while JJ starts instead of Murillo.
- Keep an eye out for Obi and Benassi who will likely look to prove a point to their former side
- Lopez vs Icardi again. Hopefully it doesn't become an issue during the match.
