Primavera advance in TIM Cup

A penalty from Andrea Pinamonti coupled with goals from Jens Odgaard and Tommaso Brignoli – all in the first half -- led the Inter Milan Primavera to a 3-0 win over Novara in the TIM Cup Round of 16 Wednesday at the Stadio Breda.

Pinamonti got his shot from the spot in the 15^th minute after Matteo Rover was fouled in the area. In the 32^nd minute, Brignoli doubled the lead with shot from distance outside the penalty area.

Four minutes later, Odgaard connected on a shot off a pass from Gabriele Zappa.

The Primavera advance to take on either Atalanta or Udinese in the quarterfinals on Dec. 20.
