Well, the first signing in Luciano Spalletti’s tenure with Inter Milan may be coming very soon.
Reports out of Italy are that the Nerazzurri have offered €3million to current Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero.
CalcioMercato.com has reported the negotiations, as of Thursday, are “advanced” between Internazionale and Borja’s agent Alejandro Camano.
The site suggested that Valero had already agreed to the deal in principle to the deal, but no contract has been put forth.
Initially, Valero was linked to AC Milan, but those rumors proved to be false.
If Inter pulls off the deal in the next few days, it will free up the squad to let Éver Banega return to Spain and still leave the squad with Joao Mário and Geoffrey Kondogbia in the middle.
Reports are that Banega will link back up with Sevilla, the team he left last year on free transfer to join the Nerazzurri. The fee for Sevilla to pick up Banega is reported to be around €10 million.
