International breaks are just the worst, aren’t they?

After thoroughly impressing in their opening two victories, Inter Milan see their season put on hold this week to allow the club’s players to train, play, and ultimately risk injury while on duty with their national sides.

This break is already off to a dreadful start for the Nerazzurri, as their newest signing, Joao Cancelo, was sent home from the Portugal camp with an injury. While this is clearly bad news for Inter, there’s always the potential for matters to get even worse. Cancelo’s injury and Stevan Jovetic’s departure mean that the club now have 12 players representing their countries this week.

The following is a compressive list of matches that Inter players could feature (and get injured) in during the break. If you’re like me, you’ll be nervous keeping an eye on each.
