The Derby della Madonnina has found a new date and time.
Lega Serie A announced the Inter Milan-AC Milan match-up will take place on Wednesday, April 4 at the Giuseppe Meazza.
The rescheduling came after the league cancelled the scheduled March 4 meeting — along with all other Serie A and Serie B games — following the sudden death of Fiorentina captain Davide Astori.
Initially, the league thought of pushing the derby to later in the schedule because Milan’s potential schedule in the Europa League. However, since the Rossoneri were eliminated, the make-up dates of April 3 and April 4 were open.
Now, all games scheduled on March 4 will be played on either Tuesday, April 3 or Wednesday, April 4.
The derby contest will kick-off at 6:30 p.m. Milan time, or 12:30 p.m. Eastern time.
