Has Wanda Nara put to rest rumors over Mauro Icardi move?

Wanda Nara, the wife of Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi will appear on Canale 5’s “Verissimo” television program where she plans to talk about recent comments made by her sister-in-law, Ivana.

While she addresses comments made regarding her relationship with Icardi and how it began, perhaps the most telling comment comes at the end of the segment where she discusses rumors that Icardi will move from the Giuseppe Meazza at the end of the season.

”Mauro continues to score. He goes ahead because he is the stronghold of the family,” Nara said, as reported by FCInterNews. “Now he is more serene. Embrace everyone because he has always had a beautiful relationship with everyone. We will be here again next year.”

Icardi had been in a dispute with Inter management following being stripped of the captaincy in February. Following that action, Icardi decided not to play for the squad for a little more than a month, even feigning a knee injury.

He has since returned to the lineup and has directly helped the Nerazzurri hold on to third place in Serie A.

Could this spell an end to the talk of Inter selling the Argentinian at the end of the season?

Well, it can certainly look that way. However, I think we should be cautious about jumping to that conclusion as Nara has a propensity of going on the television to air out dirty laundry. It could be a way to tamp down talk before the summer transfer season.
