Expect a lot of intrigue surrounding Saturday’s Serie A matchup between Inter Milan and AS Roma at the Stadio Guiseppe Meazza.
Inter are looking to solidify their spot in next season’s Champions League while Roma are on the outside, looking in.
The match will feature former coaches and players facing their former squads. Luciano Spalletti and Radja Nainggolan will square off against their former clubs while Claudio Ranieri and Nicolo Zaniolo will do the same.

Inter Milan news (W-D-W-L-W)
It’s not been the best of seasons for Inter as the Nerazzurri will not win a Scudetto, however, a win Saturday would likely secure Inter’s spot in the Champions League next sesason.
The Nerazzurri will, again, be without midfielder Marcelo Brozovic with Roberto Gagliardini getting a call up and Borja Valero being on standby. Nainggolan should also get his first start against his former club after missing the 2-2 draw at the Stadio Olimpico in December.
Additionally, Mauro Icardi will also likely feature in the match in attack as Lautaro Martinez will be available off the bench. Icardi has been productive since coming back from injury, not just in scoring, but also in assisting.
Inter’s defense also remains intact with Stefan de Vrij fully back from an injury sustained during the international break. Danilo D’Ambrosio, Milan Skriniar and Kwadwo Asamoah should also feature in front of goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
Spalletti could see the match as a big challenge as he has yet to defeat Ranieri in their four matchups. Spalletti has managed one draw and three defeats in those matches. The last time they faced each other, however, was March 2009.
Probable lineup: Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Skriniar, Asamoah; Gagliardini, Vecino; Politano, Nainggolan, Perisic; Icardi

AS Roma news (W-W-D-L-L)
Ranieri will have to suffer through some injuries Saturday as AS Roma will not have the services of Daniele De Rossi, Davide Santon and Rick Karsdorp. However, Juan Jesus should be able to come off the bench despite suffering a knock.
It will be a bittersweet return for Ranieri – who held the reigns at Inter in 2011-12. He is caretaking Roma after the club sacked Eusebio Di Francesco earlier this year.
Since taking over, Roma has been back and forth, however their back-to-back wins in Serie A have seen them come to within a point of fourth-place AC Milan.
Zaniolo could come in with a little something to prove after Inter moved him away from Milan in the deal for Nainggolan. The youngster seems to be the favorite in attack as Patrick Schick has fallen out of favor with Ranieri.
The match will also provide Inter fans another opportunity to see Edin Dzeko as the striker has been rumored to moving to Inter in the summer.
Probable lineup: Mirante; Florenzi, Manolas, Fazio, Marcano; Cristante, Nzonzi; Zaniolo, Pellegrini, El Shaarawy; Dzeko
