A report in Italy Tuesday suggests that AS Roma striker Edin Dzeko is actively seeking a move way from the capital club and wants a move to Inter Milan in the summer.

Calciomercato reported the Nerazzurri have already offered €15 million for Dzeko, which is well below the €25 million the Giallorossi are seeking for him.

Additionally, Premier League’s West Ham United are considered to be the leaders to offer what Roma seeks in terms of a transfer fee. However Dzeko is not interested in moving to England and would rather stay in Italy.

Dzeko is viewed as a potential replacement for Mauro Icardi – who is still discussed to move away from the Giuseppe Meazza in the summer.

However, one shocking thing the report contained was that Inter would offer a player to Roma instead of adding money for the release clause. That player could be Radja Nainggolan.

Nainggolan was at Roma with current Inter manager Luciano Spalletti and joined the Nerazzurri last season.

Another player that could be offered to keep the release clause price down is midfielder Joao Mario – who joined Inter in 2016.

Now, whether Roma accepts a player and €15 million for Dzeko remains to be seen, but according to the report, if Dzeko has any say, he will favor the Inter deal above those of other potential suitors.
