Juventus vs Inter Milan match postponed due to Coronavirus precautions

The Juventus vs Inter Milan match has been postponed. The effect of the Coronavirus outbreak has worsened in Italy and as a precaution, multiple Serie A matches have been canceled. Other matches scheduled to take place at Udinese, AC Milan, Parma and Sassuolo have also been rescheduled. Wednesday, May 13th is when the matches are reportedly set to be played instead.

With more than 300 people infected and 10 plus deaths, the Coronavirus outbreak has devastated Italy. Safety and public healthy should always come first.

“With regard to Art. 1, par. 1, let. A) of the Decree from the President of the Council of Ministers on 25 February 2020 on “Further provisions for the implementation of the Decree Law no. 6 of 23 February 2020, taking urgent measures for the containment and management of the epidemiological emergency caused by COVID-19,”; in light of the numerous urgent interventions from the government to protect public health and safety in response to this extraordinary state of emergency; the President of the Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A has ordered the postponement of the following matches on the seventh gameweek of the return set of fixtures in the Serie A TIM league, with the games originally planned to be played behind closed doors as per the Official Statement no. 191 on 27 February 2020”
