Inter Milan have been linked closely with Chelsea’s Emerson. The Blue’s recently signed yet another left back in Ben Chilwell, and that leaves them with an extra player at the position.
There’s a report from Fabrizio Romano that despite Chelsea’s desire to offload Emerson, Inter won’t pay the €25M asking price. That’s led them to target AS Roma’s Aleksandar Kolarov. The discussions are apparently gaining traction in the last 24 hours and a deal seems like it’ll be completed done shortly.
Aleksandar Kolarov agreed personal terms with Inter. Talks on to complete the deal with AS Roma on next hours. Total agreement is really close. @SkySport #Kolarov #Inter #transfers

Conte enjoys Kolarov’s style of play and the left back’s move to Inter is sure to spark some discussion. I don’t mind the move if Conte is behind it, but I suppose I’m impartial to Emerson as a long-term solution. The fee behind Kolarov will be the most interesting aspect and help to paint the complete picture.
