Real Madrid deny any negotiations with Latuaro

A fairly comical rumor made the rounds this morning. There was a report from Sport Mediaset via Football Italia, that Real Madrid and Inter Milan had agreed to a Lautaro Martinez deal. A rumor that when closely examined didn’t actually make all that much sense, but was fun to consider.

The rumor has since been refuted by multiple sources. Fabrizio Romano refuted the Inter Milan side of things, saying “Inter have *not* received any bid from Real Madrid for Lautaro Martinez”.

Then Real Madrid said they weren’t interested in a Lautaro Martinez deal. So it’s safe to assume, this probably isn’t a thing. You rarely see a rumor quickly put out this fast by both sides. So there’s a 95% chance this is total rubbish and the clubs were both eager to squash it before it became a real thing. Then there’s also a 5% chance Lautaro is on his way to Madrid for a medical. KIDDING.

This isn’t happening.
