Barcelona are reportedly preparing a final offer to Inter Milan for Lautaro Martinez. The Lautaro to Barcelona reports have whittled to almost nothing in recent weeks. With Barcelona attempting to re-tool their roster and keep Lionel Messi in Spain, they’ve been a bit occupied.
However, now that they’re what feels like mere days from offloading yet another couple if contracts in Luis Suarez and Arturo Vidal, they have more economical breathing room. Memphis Depay has been rumored to be an option for Barcelona, likely due to his ties to Ronald Koeman. However, Goal is reporting that Lautaro is still number one in Barca’s heart.
The difficult comes back to the actual details of a transfer. Even once Barcelona have some more flexibility in the salary department, they’re still at a loss for an actual bid for the Inter man. An offer of €65 million plus a player is where Barcelona will probably still find themselves.
So we’re left sort of where we were before. Except with a more unstable Barcelona for Lautaro to consider.
