Though Inter had already wrapped up its major business of the summer well before the transfer window slammed shut Tuesday night, the Nerazzurri weren’t completely dormant.
MILAN – FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that the club has reached an agreement to extend the contract of Lucien Agoume.
The 19-year-old French midfielder will now remain with Inter until 30 June 2025.
MILAN - FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Lucien Agoume has joined Brest.
The 19-year-old midfielder will join the French club on loan.
Brest is currently 18th in Ligue 1 with two points, winless through its first four games. Agoume had been an unused sub in Inter’s first two games of the season and would have seen playing time hard to come by in the Nerazzuri’s stacked midfield unit. He’ll be hoping for a more consistent role than last season when he made 13 appearances in all comps for Spezia. The 19-year-old is immensely talented and just needs time to show it. As shown by his lengthy contract extension, Inter clearly has faith that he’ll contribute to the first team one day, or at least make for a nice plusvalenza.
In other notable news, Valentino Lazaro was loaned to Benfica, Eddie Salcedo to Spezia, and Andrea Pinamonti is heading to Empoli. Martin Satriano, however, will be staying with Simone Inzaghi’s squad until at least January so we’ll get an extended look at the 20-year-old Uruguayan striker.
Good luck Lucien!
