Inter Send Heartfelt Message to Eriksen

One of the most tragic events of last year has turned on its head with Christian Eriksen signing with Brentford today. The Danish midfielder suffered one of the scariest incidents to take place on a football pitch and has managed to come back fit enough within a year to make it back to the Premier League.

Eriksen had a short spell with Inter that saw him hit highs and lows. I think I speak for most Inter supporters when I saw we had only seen the tip of the iceberg when it came to what I was expecting to see him do in the shirt moving forward.

All of that changed last summer and Eriksen was forced to leave the club as a result. But thankfully, he’s landed on his feet and passed a medical that will see him back in the English top flight. Inter posted a nice message online today congratulating the Dane and saying what we’re all thinking.

We’re all rooting for you Christian, it’s going to be a joy to watch him back on the pitch.
