According to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio today, Inter and PSG are no closer to a deal for Inter defender Milan Skriniar after a meeting on Friday. This comes on the back of reporting earlier in the week that PSG were increasing their bid for Skriniar to €70 million.
Now, at least according to reporting in the last day, PSG haven’t in fact hit the €70 million number yet which would be a number that Inter has a hard time turning down. Inter are holding strong at their desired number and are just waiting for PSG to hit that number.
PSG are in a position wherein they would be more in favor of a deal getting done sooner rather than later so a bidding war doesn’t take place. We all know that if Chelsea or Bayern don’t get a defender in the next few weeks we’ll start to see rumors of them getting involved and PSG don’t want that.
