Several Inter players have already been in action for their respective countries during the break, and some of them have put in really impressive performances.

Federico Bonazzoli played a full 90 minutes and scored the equalizer for Italy's U-19 squad in a 2-2 draw against Croatia in the Elite Round of the Euro 2015 Qualification campaign yesterday.

In similar fashion, Lukas Podolski netted an equalizer in the 81st minute of Germany's 2-2 draw with Australia after he replaced Marco Reus in the 73rd minute.

18-year-old Inter striker George Puscas had a brilliant showing for the Romania U-21 squad in a friendly with Iceland. The young Romanian finisher scored the first and last goals in a decisive 3-0 victory for the baby Tricolorii.

Mateo Kovacic reportedly picked up a knee injury while training with the Croatian national team. The squad's chief medic revealed that Kovacic sustained a cruciate knee ligament injury and said that Kovacic "still feels a lot of pain and there is absolutely no chance he'll be able to play against Norway." There has been no official word yet as to just how long Kova will be sidelined.

Fredy Guarin came on as a second-half sub in Colombia's 6-0 rout of Bahrain. He played a role in one of his country's goals by sliding a pass to fellow sub Adrian Ramos who easily converted the shot.

Gary Medel also made an appearance for his country as a second-half sub in Chile's lackluster 2-0 defeat at the hands of Iran.
