It appears that the rumors regarding Mauro Icardi won't be stopping any time soon.

According to Sky Sports Italia (via Forza Italian Football), rival Italian side Juventus have made a huge offer for the Argentine striker – a reported €5 million a year – to try and steal away the Nerazzurri starlet.

Word on the street earlier this week was that Juve were upset by a late bid by Inter on Juve target Paulo Dybala (a rumored €34 million to Palermo), so they have retaliated by trying to lure away Inter's most promising player.

Can you imagine if Inter lost Icardi and then both he and Dybala were playing for... well, them!? Surely there's no way Inter would let go of Icardi at this point, as his form has been stellar all season, right? Surely they wouldn't need to look at replacements for a player they're not planning on selling, right?!

Well, that brings us to our next bit of news: a report from Forza Italian Football regarding Inter's interest in Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile as a replacement for Icardi.

Yes, you read that right – as a replacement for Mauro Icardi. Pah! Immobile has shown inconsistency in both Serie A and the Bundesliga, and in my opinion could hardly be considered a replacement for Icardi or an alternative to Dybala. Hopefully this is just a fail-safe and not an actual consideration by Mancini and company.

But what do you all think of this recent news? Do you think there's still a chance Icardi could leave? And, if so, how would you feel about Inter pursuing Ciro Immobile, of all people? Let us know below.
