Calciomercato.com is reporting that Inter Milan are close to signing Cagliari midfielder and Italian international Nicolo Barella.
According to the report, Inter will pay approximately €40 million plus an additional €10 million in bonuses.
Barella has already agreed to the move with just a few details to work out before it is final.
Cagliari have already found a replacement for Barella in Boca Juniors’ midfielder Nahitan Nandez. The club will pay nearly €15 million for the Uruguayan.
Barilla has played most of his career with Cagliari, starting with its youth program. He was loaned to Como for half of a season in 2016, but returned and has played with the first team since.
This season, he has played in 21 matches – including the Coppa Italia -- scoring one goal.
