Inter Milan and Antonio Conte have reportedly agreed to part ways. The report comes to us via Fabrizio Romano’s Twitter and outlines a few details regarding the departure.
Antonio Conte and Inter have reached an agreement to part ways immediatly, done. He’s leaving Inter - game over after two seasons, one Scudetto and the Europa League final. ⚫️ #Inter #Conte

Conte will leave the club immediately and be paid €7 million for it to take place in a timely manner. The pivot point seems to be the same that it was last year when the pairing nearly parted ways.
The club and Conte weren’t on the same page regarding offseason financial plans. Inter reportedly plans on selling players to stockpile a bit of cash this offseason, and Conte wasn’t a fan of that.
Who could blame him? Delivers a Scudetto and is then told cost-cutting must take place. A departure, as disappointing as it is for someone who enjoys Conte, makes sense for both sides.
