The World Cup is about to get into full swing. Yesterday’s slate of three games was just a taste of what was to come - for the next ten days in a row we have four group stage games a day. Today features the debuts of Argentina and France and a crucial Group D matchup between México and Poland that could decide the runner-up behind La Albiceleste. Lautaro Martínez is the only Inter player in action but young star and budding superstar Thiago Almada from my hometown club Atlanta United got a surprise call up to Argentina. Despite Atlanta’s struggles over the past few years in MLS, it’s pretty dang cool seeing Almada, one of its few bright spots, get to shine on the biggest stage of all.
