Inter Milan and Milan Skriniar’s attempts at a contract renewal before the World Cup break have come and gone. The self-imposed November 13th deadline passed and reports are coming in that Premier League clubs have “taken notice” and are having talks regarding offers.
Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham have all “expressed interest” according to a report. What this level of interest means could literally be “yeah wouldn’t it be great to have Milan here” or there could be legitimate inquiries going on, time will tell.
The good news for Inter fans is that Skriniar isn’t going to the World Cup, so focus on a contract renewal now has some space with the defender not playing football. Let’s hope a deal gets done.
