La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Inter’s directors will be meeting with Simone Inzaghi this week to discuss the squad’s problems. Inter hasn’t been consistent at all so far this year, losing three of their first nine matches on the year and the bosses want details.

The meeting will take place at Appiano Gentile and consist of the big shots, Inzaghi, and his staff. Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are reportedly concerned about the fitness of the team and want to address the lack of concentration and motivation they’ve apparently observed.

A nice lunch between the group is probably justified. Personally, I’d also like to understand the lack of motivation from the team considering they came in second to their bitter rivals in the league last year and are off to a rocky start in European competition just two matches in.
