Inter’s Champions League journey is alive for at least one more round after a nail-biting 0-0 draw at Porto preserved the Nerazzurri’s 1-0 aggregate lead from leg one. Next up for Inter is its first quarter-final appearance since the 2010/11 campaign. Simone Inzaghi’s men will face one of Milan, Napoli, Bayern, Benfica, Manchester City, Chelsea, or Real Madrid, to be decided in the draw this Friday at 7:00 AM ET, 11 AM GMT. This draw will also decide the semifinal matchups, pre-placing the winners of the quarterfinals against each other.

Some names stand out from the list. This is the first time in 17 years that 3 Italian sides have been in the quarterfinals after going a combined 4W-2D-0L with 8 goals scored and 0 conceded in the Round of 16 (Inter can be drawn against teams from Serie A or its UCL group beginning in this round). Man City, Real Madrid, and Bayern are the heavy hitters left while Chelsea and Benfica are perhaps the most manageable on paper, though of course, at this stage there are no easy draws left.

Who would you want to see Inter play in the quarterfinals? Let us know in the poll and comments below.
