Odgaard leads Inter Milan Primavera in Milan derby

Not sure where he came from, but Jens Odgaard might be a name for Interisti to remember for a bit.

The Inter Milan Academy player racked up a hat trick at the Inter Primavera tallied a 3-0 win over AC Milan over the weekend.

In the 15^th minute, Odgaard picked up his first after capitalizing on a mistake by the AC Milan defense to beat Guarnone to the net.

AC Milan came close to equalizing two minutes later but a shot by Campeol went off the post after an attempt to clear was deflected.

Odgaard had another chance to double the lead, but it wasn’t until the 32^nd minute when it found the back of the net. After working past an AC Milan defender, Odgaard took a left-footed shot past Guarnone to put Inter up 2-0 at the break.

In the second half, the Nerazzurri defense clamped down holding AC Milan’s offense in check.

In the 73^rd minute, Odgaard picked up his hat trick after taking a cross from Rover to put back into goal.

Inter’s defense turned back a late flurry at the game drew to a close to win the second game in a row.
