Inter has confirmed the first moves of its January transfer market, sending Martin Satriano on a six-month loan to Brest. The Nerazzurri’s other rumored departure, Stefano Sensi, managed to put off a temporary move to Sampdoria thanks to his game-winner against Empoli and Joaquin Correa’s injury.
Here’s Inter’s official statement.
MILAN - FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Martin Satriano has joined Ligue 1 outfit Brest on a six-month loan deal until 30 June 2022.
The Uruguayan striker, 20, has made four Serie A appearances for Inter this season.
Satriano will join fellow Inter-loanee Lucien Agoume at midtable Ligue 1 side Brest. After a red-hot preseason, the 20-year-old Uruguayan striker played just 33 minutes for the first team across four Serie A appearances. But if Agoume’s story is anything to go by, more playing time should be on the cards for Satriano. Agoume has made 17 appearances for Brest for a total of 1,136 minutes. If he continues to lock down a starting role, the Frenchman could be an option for Inter’s midfield rotation next season, especially if Vecino and Vidal depart.
Best of luck to Satriano!
