Inzaghi reportedly keen on Caicedo reunion

Simone Inzaghi is reportedly interested in a reunion with Felipe Caicedo at Inter Milan. The striker is currently at Genoa where some injuries have left his playing time at the club inconsistent thus far.

The Inter boss and Caicedo spent a couple years in Rome together where Caicedo was a key member of the squad coming off the bench. His current deal runs till 2024 and with an uncertain future Inzaghi could snatch up the attacker while Inter need attacking reinforcements.

This is certainly one of the topics at the meeting that Inzaghi is set to have with Zhang, Marotta, and Ausilio within the next few days according to Italian media. Bringing back Eddie Salcedo would be an easier putt for management but they’ll have to get a cohesive decision with Inzaghi. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
