Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi’s wife Wanda Nara has now made two media appearances where she reiterates that the Argentine is staying with the Nerazzurri.
Today, her comments were made to Valerio Stafelli of Striscia La Notizia.
“Our family is interested. We are in Milan, and we stay there,” Nara said. “I am 100 percent sure. We also renewed school enrollment for children.”
Well, that should put all the rumors to bed, right?
Of course, let’s keep in mind Nara recently made an appearance on this show (of which I have no idea what it’s purpose is) and the biggest takeaway was her slipping and falling while doing the tango.
For her efforts, she was awarded the Golden Tapir (a small statue given to celebrities or politicians who have been embarrassed or humiliated on the show).
(Shaking my head)
But, if taken at face value, Nara appears to be open about the fact that Icardi plans to stay with Inter Milan, amid speculation that the club will sell him in the summer.
Apparently, the divide between Nara, Icardi and Inter has been bridged and all sides appear to be on the same page … I guess.
However, I doubt that is going to stop the persistent rumor mill in Italy from continuing its rapid pace of “Icardi out” stories.
