Report: Inzaghi’s contract to be extended

In a report that should surprise none of us, Inter Milan are looking to extend Simone Inzaghi’s contract at the end of the current campaign. The current deal Inzaghi is on is only two years, but that’s likely to change.

In terms of both results and style of football Inter are playing this year, there is really no doubt he should be extended a more than generous offer. The report details a new deal with an offer till 2024 with the option for an additional year.

The boss will also get a pay bump from €4.5m per season to €5m-a-year. After getting the Supercoppa Italiana, making the round of 16 in the Champions League, and being in qualification for the Scudetto once again; this comes as no surprise. Let's just hope they get the deal done.
