The meeting comes after reports of a previous meeting between Icardi and members of Inter management where he suggested he would no longer speak to anyone with the club, except club president Steven Zhang.
It also follows a three-week saga between Icardi, Nara and the club after manager Luciano Spalletti demoted Icardi from captain prior to the first leg of their Europa League match with Rapid Wien.
Since then, there has been numerous back-and-forth, ranging from Nara appearing on an Italian television show to plead her case to cryptic social media posts from both Icardi and Nara.
There has been no word on what the results of Wednesday morning’s meeting between Marotta, Icardi and Nara were.
Icardi is slated to miss Inter’s Europa League round of 16 matchup at Eintracht Frankfurt Thursday, citing continuous knee issues.
