Inter not threatened by Arsenal and Atletico interest in Dybala - report

The Paulo Dybala to Inter Milan storm has slowed down in the rumor mill over the last few days. That seems to be in large part to nothing actually happening. Dybala is in a waiting pattern, according to Corriere della Sera via SempreInter, for Inter to clear up some room on the wage bill for a deal to take place.

The one bit of “news” we have seen floating around the Twittersphere, has been that a couple of Premier League teams, namely, Newcastle United and Arsenal, are interested in Dybala. There’s an additional rumor that Atletico Madrid have also tested the waters on Dybala possibly coming to Spain.

I just gotta say, thinking of a worse pair than Paulo Dybala and those three teams is hard to come by. I cannot think of anything more counterculture to the style that Dybala plays, than that of Diego Simeone and Atletico Madrid. Despite Atletico wanting to be more front footed in recent years, I just think of João Félix being enough of an example to keep Dybala away.

It’s also hilarious to think of him at Arsenal or Newcastle. If this had been pretty much any other team I may have been worried, but Inter are correct in not being concerned.
